Remembering the past, looking to the future
Regional conference scheduled for March
. Work sessions for students and professionals at Region 2 conference

SPJ's Region 2 Conference will be held at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond on March 30-31, 2007.

Students will have the opportunity to have their work for print and broadcast media critiqued by local professionals, and practice their broadcast delivery skills at Virginia Commonwealth University's television studio.

Presenters include Glenn Proctor, Richmond Times-Dispatch; Debora Wenger, Virginia Commonwealth University; Nancy Wright Beasley, Virginia author, and more.

Scheduled workshops include Online Writing, Living with FOIA, Getting your first job and Death of the Newscast.
