Welcome to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. The campus chapter, along with the national SPJ organization, aims to promote diversity, ethics and perpetuation of a free press as the cornerstone of our nation and our liberty. Through this Web site, our chapter hopes to provide our student members and visitors information about issues facing journalists and programs designed to help further educate those interested in the field of journalism and communication. If you have ideas about what we should host on this site or suggestions for future programs, please contact us. The UWM Chapter has also entered into a partnership with the Milwaukee Press Club as a way to offer professional support to students.
