Registration by check or money order before March 4 is $70 for SPJ professional members, $75 for professional non-members. Student registration is $60 for SPJ members and $70 for student non-members.

Add $5 to all fees if registering after March 4 or at the event.

Fees include Friday's opening night reception, all sessions and the Luncheon with our keynote speaker and Mark of Excellence Awards.

The Drury Inn & Suites Riverwalk can be reached for reservations at (210) 212-5200. This is a popular time of the year to visit San Antonio (usually one of the rare perfect not-to-hot and not-too-cold weeks) so be sure to book the hotel room as soon as possible to ensure getting a room.

If you book at the last minute and rooms are not available in the conference hotel, dozens of other hotels for all budgets are nearby including a very nice Holiday Inn on the Riverwalk next door.

The SPJ room rates at the Drury (be sure to mention SPJ or Society of Professional Journalists when making the reservation) is a base rate of $109.99 per night with no extra costs for additional people. Suites are available at our group rate for $129.99 per night with no extra charge for additional people. Students: this is especially good for you. A suite with two double beds and fold out bed in the second room make it economical for three or more people.
