For $20 (Students: $10), enhance your role in one of the nation's largest journalism communities as a chapter supporter. If you are principally engaged in journalism, or if you have ever been a member of an SPJ chapter, you are eligible. The chapter holds events that explore or celebrate journalism. In addition to workshops, panels and other programs, each year the chapter:

• Mentors high school journalists in career workshops.
• Sponsors the region's prestigious SPJ Awards, culminating in a dinner presentation where the best print and broadcast journalists in the Philadelphia area are honored.
• Awards a scholarship to a deserving student who is bound for a career in journalism.
