ENTRY FEES

	Individual SPJ Member: $10 per entry
	Individual Non-SPJ Member: $15 per entry
	Multiple Byline/Staff: $20 per entry ($15 if any of entrants is SPJ member)

PROCEDURES AND RULES

1. All entries must have been published or broadcast during the last calendar year.

2. Checks must be included with entries, payable to “SPJ Philadelphia Chapter.” NOTE: CHECKS MUST BE INCLUDED. WE CAN NOT ACCEPT ENTRIES WITH PROMISES TO PAY.

3. All entries must be received by March 16 at the address on the categories listing. Do NOT mail entries to the SPJ post office box.

4. Print entries (non-photo, non-design) should be mounted or reprinted/copied on 8.5x11 paper. Some folding is OK, but keep in mind the judge’s convenience. Photocopies and archive printouts are acceptable, but archive printouts must be accompanied by the page on which the story started (original or photocopy). Photo entries may be mounted on boards or thick paper. If prints are entered, proof of publication must be attached. Design entries should be neatly folded.

5. Radio entries may be submitted on standard cassettes or on CDs, one entry per CD.

6. TV entries should be submitted on standard ½-inch VHS cassettes or DVDs.

(RADIO AND TV NOTE: Please copy the label form included with this packet and attach one filled-out label to each cassette, CD or DVD box.)

7. Refer to individual categories for rules on the number of entries required in each category and the number of times each entrant may enter.

8. Entrants on which more than four bylines are to be recognized should be entered as “Staff.”

9. All entries become the property of the chapter and will not be returned.
