Michael Days keynote speaker at SPJ awards banquet July 15
Michael Days, editor of the Philadelphia Daily News will be the keynote speaker duirng 46th annual Excellence in Journalism awards program by the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists from 6 p.m., Thursday, July 15, in the Philadelphia Inquirer building, 400 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, Pa.
The awards recognize the best in professional journalism in the Philadelphia area and adjacent metropolitan areas in 2009 in print, radio, television, newspapers, photography and online.

Comlimentary drinks will be served from 6 p.m. and the ceremony will begin with dinner at 7 p.m. The cost for the event is $35 per person for early bird registration by July 9 ($40 after that date) and $20 for Students with valid ID.
