Frank Gorrie of the Associated Press  (foreground at left), is listed as the first president of the Kansas  City Press Club. He was named president in1947. Also in this photograph  taken about 1965 are (left to right) Hal Boyle, AP; Kenneth Fox, Kansas  City Star; Gordon Gilmore, TWA; Harold Mack (Grove), KCMO-TV-Radio; Bob  Helmer, TWA; and J.D. Bowersock, Kansas City Star.

 

A framed document titled “House Rules” shows the Kansas City Press Club had a home in 1979. A room at the Hotel President, 14th and Baltimore, Kansas City, Mo., served as Press Club headquarters.
