Specific instructions for Heart of America Awards

When you click “Enter” you will be redirected to the Web site of Better Newspaper Contests. Click on “Contestant Login.” Use the password “BNC” for your first login. You will be required to change it.

If you cannot login it is most likely because you or your news organization are not in our database. Please email kcpressclub@gmail.com and we will enter you in the database. Use “Contest Login” as the subject and give us your name, email address, and the news organization you work for (if you’re a freelancer, so indicate).

	Pay for your entries by credit card (via PayPal)

Choose “SPJ Member” or “Non-member” from the drop-down list below. Then click “Add to Cart.” When a new window opens update the number of entries you are paying for. If you are paying for both member and non-member entries you may return to the order window and choose the other member/nonmember option, click “Add to Cart” and again adjust the number of entries. After your order is correct, click on “Check Out.”
