Our Mission
Kansas Pro Chapter of SPJ gives away $10,000 each year in journalism scholarships through its major benefit, the Gridiron satirical review. The chapter is a founding member and key funder of the Kansas Sunshine Coalition for Open Government. It regularly sponsors forums on topics that enhance the understanding of journalists and news consumers of the issues facing our profession and our society.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Whether it be our annual membership mixer, a guest speaker, an ethics discussion or just an excuse to get together, Kansas Pro Chapter has regular meetings and events throughout the year. Our goal is to have an activity at least once a month.
